Lanes will be closed along H-3

There will be pavement resurfacing and striping work on H-3 Freeway in both directions between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the following locations in Kane'ohe:

  • Outbound lane between the Lookout No. 1 off-ramp and Marine Corps Base Hawai'i through Friday.

  • Inbound lane between the Kailua Interchange and the Halekou Interchange through Friday.

    Other roadwork around O'ahu:

    'Aiea Access Road project continues

    Shoulder lane will be closed on the southeast Moanalua Freeway onramp from 'Aiea Access Road through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the installation of light poles.

    Pu'uloa project ongoing

    Lanes will be closed in both directions on Pu'uloa Road between Kamehameha Highway and Salt Lake Boulevard through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, for traffic signal and utility work at the following locations:

  • At the Salt Lake Boulevard intersection for traffic signal and utility duct work.

  • The northbound left lane will be closed near Kilihau Street for utility duct work.

  • The southbound right turn lane toward Salt Lake Boulevard will be closed for the placement of utility lines.

    Pavement resurfacing on Fort Weaver Road

    Lanes will be closed northbound on Fort Weaver Road near the Farrington Highway overpass on Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for pavement resurfacing work.

    Farrington project continues in Waipahu

    Various lanes will be closed in both directions on Farrington Highway from Old Fort Weaver Road to Kamehameha Highway through Friday for pavement striping at these times:

  • Eastbound: 8:30 a.m. through 3 p.m.

  • Westbound: 7:30 a.m. through 3 p.m.

    Nimitz-Ala Moana resurfacing

    Lanes will be closed in both directions on Nimitz Highway from Fort Street to Richards Street through Friday morning from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly, for pavement saw-cutting and trenching for the installation of street lighting and traffic signal conduits.

    Work continues near Crouching Lion

    Lanes will be closed on Kamehameha Highway between Waiahole Valley Road and Crouching Lion Inn in both directions through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for sign installation and guardrail work. Traffic will be contra-flowed in the remaining open lane.
