Northwest Airlines to lanuch Anchorage-Kona service

Northwest Airlines will fly twice-weekly flights between Anchorage, Alaska, and Kona from Feb. 18 through April 8, the Big Island Visitors Bureau announced yesterday.The Anchorage/Kona flights will have 224 seats. The Kona flights returning to Anchorage will stop in Honolulu to pick up more passengers. Northwest also offers five flights a week between Maui and Anchorage.
