UH travel school sets lecture on indigenous cultures

Preserving indigenous cultures will be the topic of a lecture presented Feb. 27 by the University of Hawai'i School of Travel Industry Management.Richard Engelhardt, UNESCO regional adviser for Culture in Asia and the Pacific, will speak on "Protecting Indigenous Cultures within a Tourism Environment" at the annual Ambassador Bill Lane Jr. Lecture on Sustainable Tourism. The free lecture will be at 5 p.m. at UH's George Hall, room 227.
