No. 4 UH women top No. 8 San Diego St. in water polo

Kristy Bagnall's goal with 2:26 left in the second overtime led No. 4 Hawai'i past No. 8 San Diego State, 10-9, in the Rainbow Wahine's home opener at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex today.Bagnall scored three goals for Hawai'i. Kelly Mason, Lisa van Raalte and Angela Turnbull added two goals apiece and Amy Logan scored once.
Hawai'i is 4-3 overall and 2-1 in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation. San Diego State is 4-2 and 0-1.
The Rainbow Wahine host No. 14 Long Beach State on at noon Saturday and finish off the weekend against No. 10 Arizona State at 10 a.m. Sunday at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex.
