State boxing championships today, tomorrow at Palolo

The USA Boxing state championships will be held today and tomorrow, starting at 7 p.m. at Palolo Gym.Admission is $10.
The winners will advance to the U.S. Championships in June at Colorado Springs, Colo. Those who reach the quarterfinals will qualify fo the Olympic Trials held in August. The winner at the Olympic Trials will represent the United States in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
Defending state champions expected to compete are Amadeo Ezzo-White Jr. (unattached), four-time state champion at 125 pounds, Kawika Tangjian Jr. (Kawano Boxing Club), three-time champion at 119 pounds, and Isaac Arasato (Palolo Boxing Club), two-time champion at 132 pounds.
