Panel to discuss Hawai'i's economic outlook

Economic experts and lawmakers will hold a panel discussion Feb. 28 called "the economic forecast for Hawai'i."

Those on the panel include state Rep. Glenn Wakai, D-31st (Salt Lake, Tripler); Carl Bonham, director of the University of Hawai'i Economic Research Organization; and Chris Grandy, tax review commissioner. Topics will include labor productivity growth, diversification, tax credits an economy-related legislation.

The panel will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Kahala Elementary School cafetorium at 4559 Kilauea Ave.
