Woman's body found in Waimanalo stream

A woman's body recovered from a stream in Waimanalo earlier this morning has been turned over to the city Department of the Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death.
Police said there were no immediate signs of foul play.
The body was reported floating in the stream near Laumilo Street at about 4 a.m.
Police said they could not estimate how old the woman was, because decomposition had set in.
Homicide detectives were not sent to the scene.
