Fight at Yokohama Bay leaves man in serious condition

Police are investigating a report that a man was hit in the head with a baseball bat during a confrontation at the Yokohama Bay beach park about 12:15 a.m.
City paramedics are taking the man, who was reported to be in serious condition, to the Queen's Medical Center.
There was also a report of people being sprayed with mace at Kea'au Beach Park in Makaha. Police are checking to see if the two events are related.
