UH-Manoa chancellor candidates to meet public

University of Hawai'i students, faculty and staff, and the general community are invited to meet and hear from the four candidates for the UH-Manoa chancellor position at public presentations.

The presentations, which will focus on the subject of leadership, are scheduled as follows:

iCarol Tomlinson-Keasey, professor and former chancellor, University of California, Merced, on 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, School of Architecture Auditorium.

iYash P. Gupta, professor and former dean; and Robert R. Dockson, chair, Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California, on 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, School of Architecture Auditorium.

iReed W. Dasenbrock, provost and executive vice president for academic affairs, University of New Mexico, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 26, School of Architecture Auditorium.

iVirginia S. Hinshaw, provost and executive vice chancellor, University of California, Davis, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. March 1, Art Auditorium.

Faculty, staff, students and the general public are also invited to submit comments regarding the chancellor candidates to uhmchan@hawaii.edu. Comments received will be submitted to UH President David McClain for consideration in the selection of a candidate to recommend for final approval to the UH Board of Regents.
