Rodrigues, UH top UC Santa Barbara in baseball, 5-1

Mark Rodrigues fired a three-hitter and Hawai'i evened the series with UC Santa Barbara with a 5-1 win today in Santa Barbara, Calif.Rodrigues (4-0) pitched his first complete game for UH, walking none and striking out four.
A two-run triple by Kris Sanchez put UH ahead, 2-1, in the sixth inning to extend his hitting streak to 15 games.
The Rainbows improved to 8-3, while the Gauchos fell to 2-2.
The three-game series concludes tomorrow.
