H-1 traffic jammed after fatal accident near Kapolei

Honolulu police say one person died and another is in custody following a two-car accident tonight near Kapolei.The accident occurred at about 7:15 p.m. on H-1 Freeway's west-bound off-ramp at Campbell Industrial Park, near a sharp curve in the road.
One driver ran away from the scene but was arrested in the area a short time later, police said.
Traffic in the area in both directions of H-1 Freeway is heavily congested, police said.
