Knifepoint robbery on city bus reported

Police are investigating a complaint filed by a juvenile girl who said she was robbed at knifepoint yesterday afternoon while riding a city bus from Honolulu to Kailua.
The girl, whose age was not specified, told police a man who was also on the bus pulled out a pocket knife and took her necklace.
The girl said she later was able to grab the necklace away from the man and held on to it.
She said she rode the bus back and forth between Honolulu and Kailua from about 4 to 7:15 p.m. because she as too afraid to get off.
The girl said she got off after man who pointed the knife at her told her to leave the bus.
Police classified the incident as a first-degree robbery.
