Pam Tambini scored a game-high 20 points as the University of Hawai'i women's basketball team won its sixth straight game, beating visiting Utah State, 79-63, today.

A crowd of 348 at the Stan Sheriff Center watched the Rainbow Wahine improve to 13-12 overall and 7-6 in the Western Athletic Conference, and move to 4-0 under acting head coach Pat Charity. The Aggies dropped to 10-14, 6-7.

Hawai'i's Janevia Taylor added 16 points, Tanya Smith contributed 14 points and 13 rebounds, and Brittany Grice had 12 points. Tambini added eight rebounds.

Utah State's Taylor Richards scored 19 points, and Brittany Phillips added 18.

The game originally was slated for last night, but it was postponed to today because the Aggies experienced travel delays.

Hawai'i's 79 points matched a season high for the second consecutive game. Hawai'i beat Fresno State, 79-65 on Thursday.

A total of 13 of 14 Hawai'i players saw action, and 11 of them scored.
