Rainbow Wahine win two in Las Vegas softball tourney

Courtney Baughman pitched a three-hitter, and Claire Warwick, Kaulana Gould and Tyleen Tausaga homered, as Hawai'i beat Utah, 3-1, today in the Louisville-Slugger Desert Classic at Las Vegas.

Earlier in the day, Justine Smethurst got her first career hit — a solo homer — and pitched a five-hitter, and Gould hit her first career grand slam to help beat Cal State Northridge, 7-2.

The Rainbow Wahine improved to 9-2 overall, and 4-1 in the tournament.
