'Grease' audition for local production set for March 5-7

Army Community Theatre will hold auditions for "Grease," the musical with a 1950s pedigree, at 7 p.m. March 5-7, at Richardson Theatre, Fort Shafter.CoCo Wiel will direct, Jennifer Shannon will choreograph and Daren Kimura will conduct the orchestra.
The show, which concludes ACT's 2006-'07 season with a May 10-26 run, is a romantic and comedic saga of bobby soxers with guys loving hot rods and girls pondering beauty school. It is the same musical that is Broadway-bound again and currently featured in an NBC reality series that is casting principal roles via a TV audition process.
