Streets to avoid during Great Aloha Run

To accommodate the 20,000 or so participants in today's Great Aloha Run, the Department of Transportation and Honolulu Police Department are temporarily shutting down some roads and rerouting traffic.Great Aloha Run officials offers these tips to make traveling easier today:
The Honolulu Police Department will attempt to let cross-traffic flow through once the bulk of the racers have passed. Most roads near the airport should be reopened to cross-traffic by 8:30 a.m., and Salt Lake Boulevard between Kalaloa Street and Aloha Stadium should reopen by approximately 9:45 a.m.
