Rainbow Wahine Tambini wins weekly WAC honor

University of Hawai'i forward Pam Tambini was named the Western Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for helping to lead the Rainbow Wahine to a pair of victories, the conference office announced today.Tambini averaged 17 points and six rebounds per game in UH's wins over Fresno State and Utah State.
It is the first time Tambini has been honored by the conference.
The 13-12 Rainbow Wahine host San Jose State Saturday.
