University Avenue lanes near King Street now open

University Avenue lanes closed this afternoon to make way for a city crew to repair an unstable street light pole are now open to traffic.City officials diverted traffic in both directions of University Avenue near South King Street.
University Avenue traffic headed toward the University of Hawai'i at Manoa campus was diverted to Kuilei Street. Traffic moving in the opposite direction was diverted to Beretania Street.
