What's open, closed on O'ahu for Presidents Day

What's open and closed for Presidents Day:

  • Government: Federal, state, city and county offices, closed.

  • Libraries: Most closed today through Monday. For information, call your area library or visit www.librarieshawaii.org.

  • TheBus: Saturday schedule in effect.

  • On-street parking: Free, except for metered Kalakaua Avenue spaces adjacent to Kapi'olani Park; holiday towaway parking as permitted by sign; municipal lot meters must be fed.

  • Traffic: No coning.

  • Rubbish: Regular residential and business pickup. Landfills and convenience centers will be open.

  • Open markets: Closed.

  • Municipal golf courses: Open.

  • Parks, city recreation centers, Honolulu Zoo and city botanic gardens: Open.

  • Mail: Post offices closed; no regular residential and business delivery; mail to be picked up from all collection boxes located at post offices on O'ahu; express mail delivery to Honolulu addresses only.
