What's open and closed for Presidents Day:
Government: Federal, state, city and county offices, closed.
Libraries: Most closed today through Monday. For information, call your area library or visit www.librarieshawaii.org.
TheBus: Saturday schedule in effect.
On-street parking: Free, except for metered Kalakaua Avenue spaces adjacent to Kapi'olani Park; holiday towaway parking as permitted by sign; municipal lot meters must be fed.
Traffic: No coning.
Rubbish: Regular residential and business pickup. Landfills and convenience centers will be open.
Open markets: Closed.
Municipal golf courses: Open.
Parks, city recreation centers, Honolulu Zoo and city botanic gardens: Open.
Mail: Post offices closed; no regular residential and business delivery; mail to be picked up from all collection boxes located at post offices on O'ahu; express mail delivery to Honolulu addresses only.
