Army investigating infant injury reported at Schofield

Army Criminal Investigation Division officials are pursuing an investigation touched off by a report of an injured infant at Schofield Barracks.Honolulu police responded to a call about the injured infant boy at Schofield Barracks Saturday morning. The infant was taken to Wahiawa General Hospital at 10:20 a.m. Saturday in critical condition.
Honolulu police were called when it was discovered the child had a fractured skull, officials said.
Police have turned the case over to Army Criminal Investigation Division investigators.
