Rough sea conditions expected all day

The National Weather Service has issued a gale warning for ocean waters near the Big Island and a small-craft advisory for the channels and near-shore waters throughout the rest of the state.The gale warning will remain in effect at least through this afternoon while the small-craft advisory will continue through tomorrow morning, forecasters said.
