High winds bring surf advisory to eastern shores

A high-surf advisory remains in effect until 4 p.m. today for eastern shores, the National Weather Service said.Strong winds have raised the surf 6 feet to 9 feet along east-facing shores, but the conditions are choppy.
The North Shore will see surf 8 feet to 10 feet today, while west-facing shores will see surf 4 feet to 6 feet and south-facing shores will see surf 2 feet to 4 feet.
