Fest seeks entries for gay-themed films

The Honolulu Gay & Lesbian Cultural Foundation, which annually presents the 18th Honolulu Rainbow Film Festival of gay-themed movies, welcomes entries for the 2007 event, set for May 24 through 27.Feature films and shorts are eligible for several awards, including the Adam Baran Award for Best Film, the Phred Love Award for Best Hawai'i Film, the Rainbow Award for Best Short Film and Best Documentary.
Submission deadline is March 15. A $30 fee is required for projects running more than 30 minutes; $20 for films under 30 minutes. The entry fee is waived for all Hawai'i-based filmmakers.
