Moanalua edges Radford in OT in state D1 hoops

Stevie Austin scored 24 points and Josh Kure 20 to lift Moanalua past Radford, 73-71, in a first-round game of the Hawaiian Airlines/Hawaii High School Athletic Association boys state basketball tournament at McKinley gym.The score was tied at 65-all at the end of regulation.
Gary Satterwhite scored 18 and Travis Daniels 17 for Radford.
Moanalua will play top seed and No. 1-ranked Punahou at 8 p.m. at McKinley. The game will be preceded by Kamehameha-Maui vs. Kalaheo at 6 p.m.
