Car clips driver pulled over on side of freeway

Two women were injured this morning in separate incidents.At 8:21 a.m. a 48-year-old woman was taken to The Queen's Medical Center in serious condition after she was clipped by a car near the merge of H1 and H2 freeways, according to police and the city office of Emergency Services.
The woman had pulled over to the side of the road and was outside of her car reaching into her trunk when she was hit.
At 8:49 a.m. a 61-year-old woman was hit while crossing Ward Avenue near Lunalilo. It is not clear if the woman was in a crosswalk. She was taken to Queen's in serious condition.
