Lana'i healthcare tops agenda for Council of Advisors

Governor's Lana'i Council of Advisors will meet on Tuesday at 5 p.m. to discuss healthcare services provided by the Lana'i Community Hospital and the Department of Health.

The meeting will be held at the Lana'i Police Station conference room, 855 Fraser St., in Lana'i City and is open to the public.

Dr. Chiyome Fukino, director of the Department of Health, will discuss the healthcare topics.

The Lana'i Council of Advisors holds monthly public meetings to seek community input and advise the governor of important issues, public priorities and recommendations for state boards and commissions.

The members of the Governor's Lana'i Council of Advisors are Cindy Arruiza, John dela Cruz, Matthew Mano, Douglas Rolefson and Nani Watanabe.
