Small business global export forum set March 7

The U.S. Small Business Administration will hold its annual International Trade Forum on March 7 at the Foreign Trade Zone No. 9 at Pier 2."A Guide to Doing Business Overseas: Your Global Connection," will feature experts in finance, agriculture and marketing who will address issues that small business owners must resolve for a successful export venture. Among the experts will be representatives from the state Department of Agriculture, Hawai'i National Bank, Hawai'i Technology Development Corp., Central Pacific Bank, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Hawai'i Small Business Development Center Network, and the SBA.
The forum is free, but registration is required. Registration can be done on-line at www.sba.gov/hi.
