Millionaire at 16 to speak on 'Success at Any Age'

The youngest African-American CEO of a publicly traded company — who also started his first business at the age of 12 and made his first million by age 16 — is coming to Hawai'i Pacific University on Thursday and Friday to give presentations to HPU students, faculty and staff.

Ephren Taylor II, CEO of publicly City Capital Corporations and Amoro Corporation, will be speaking Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Amos Starr & Juliette Montague Cooke Memorial Academic Center at HPU and again Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Warmer Auditorium, 1060 Bishop St., penthouse level, HPU.

Taylor currently sees more than $100 million in assets for his clients, serving a diverse client list ranging from stock market day traders to hip hop icons.
