'Beauty and the Beast' benefit to honor philanthropist

Philanthropist Edith Leong, a long-time supporter of Saint Louis School, will be honored at a benefit gala of the campus production of the Tony Award-winning Disney musical, "Beauty and the Beast," from 5:30 p.m. March 3, at Mamiya Theatre.
The fund-raiser will feature pre-curtain pupu, beer, wine and entertainment. Curtain time is 7:30 p.m. Gala tickets are $100; call 739-4852 for reservations.
It premieres 7:30 p.m. March 2, before the gala, and repeats at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and at 4 p.m. Sundays, through March 18. Tickets are $22 adults, $18 students, military, seniors over 60 and $15 children under 12.
