The 13th annual Honolulu Festival will be held March 9-11 at four stages: the Hawai'i Convention Center, Ala Moana Center, Waikiki Beach Walk and along Kalakaua Avenue.

This year, the free festival will focus on "Pacific Rennaisance" with arts, crafts and culture of Japan and other Pacific Rim nations.

The festival aims to promote understanding, economic cooperation and ethnic harmony among the people of Hawai'i and the Asia-Pacific region, officials said. Each year, Honolulu Festival activities are held at various locations in the heart of the city, making them easily accessible to residents and visitors alike.

Admission to all festival events is free.
