Author Alan Tonelson to speak at PAAC events

Author Alan Tonelson will speak on economic globalization during two events tomorrow and Saturday hosted by the Pacific Asian Affairs Council.

Tonelson is the author of "The Race to the Bottom: Why a Global Worker Surplus and Uncontrolled Free Trade are Sinking American Living Standards."

Tonelson is scheduled to speak at a PAAC breakfast meeting from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. at the Ala Moana Hotel Carnation Room. On Saturday he will address the PAAC's spring high school conference from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at Mid-Pacific Institute.
