Man reports golf-club assault incident

Police are investigating a 40-year-old man's complaint that he was struck by a golf club during an argument yesterday in 'Ewa Beach.

The alleged incident was reported at 3:30 p.m.

An 18-year-old man was arrested for questioning in the second-degree assault investigation.

Man charged in sexual assault case

A 49-year-old Aliamanu man was charged yesterday with two counts of first-degree sex assault and six counts of third-degree sex assault.

Bail for Roland Kealoha is $50,000. The alleged assaults involved three juveniles over a period of two years.

Police investigating infant's death

Police investigating the death of a month-old Nanakuli boy said yesterday that foul play is not suspected.

The infant's mother found the child unresponsive in his crib at 9:14 a.m. yesterday and administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation until paramedics arrived. The child was pronounced dead at an area hospital, police said.
