McKinley routs Kohala for Division II state hoops title

Jonathan Lee scored 14 points and Nainoa Lessary added 12 to lead McKinley to a 55-28 victory over Kohala for the Division II boys state basketball championship tonight at Stan Sheriff Center.McKinley, which won its first boys state basketball championship, finished 13-6. Kohala finished 16-4.
Earvin Sione added nine points and 11 rebounds for the Tigers.
Ryan Bautista led the Cowboys with 12 points.
The Division II boys basketball state tournament was played for the first time this year.
