Watabu-Matsumura lead Four Ball; Fujikawa-Doo second

Casey Watabu and Aki Matsumura shot an 8-under-par 63 to take a one-stroke lead over Tadd Fujikawa and Adrian Doo after the first round today of the HPLGA Four Ball Championship at Ted Makalena Municipal.The final round of the tournament is tomorrow.
Three teams are at 65 — Haku Maluenda and Samuel Rodriguez, Rodney Doo and Shakil Ahmed and Jared Sawada and Michael Jay Sato.
Fujikawa, a Moanalua High sophomore, won this tournament last year with partner Chan Kim, the state high school champion from Kaimuki. Fujikawa is playing this year with Doo, a Mid-Pacific senior.
