Friday, Feb. 23: We only get, like, six hours of sleep, and we have to get up at 6:30 in the morning. It's hard, but getting a chance to play pro football is something I've wanted to do my whole life. We're busy, but I don't mind.
The NFL feeds us breakfast at 7, just regular food. It's not like Hawai'i's good-loving food. After that, it's a brand new day.
We had our psychological testing today, the Wonderlic. It was as I expected. It was intense. Twelve minutes seems short, but when you're doing the test, it feels long. I answered 44 (of the 60) questions. I felt confident. The questions were long, but if you think simple, it will be OK. It was a written test, like an SAT, but only 12 minutes.
We had weightlifting today. It went good, but I'm not going to tell you my score. I could have done better, but everybody says that after lifting.
It was pretty intense. There's one bench, and one time to lift. All of the offensive line coaches, some head coaches and some GMs were there. There were over 100 people watching you lift. It was pretty crazy.
I've been doing a lot of interviews. On Wednesday and Thursday, the interviews were in the convention center. The first day, I did almost a dozen table meetings.
The second day, I did almost a dozen table meetings, plus a private meeting with the Dallas Cowboys. That was fun. I told them the Cowboys were my favorite team when I was little. It brought a smile to their faces. I wanted to meet owner Jerry Jones, but he wasn't there.
Today I met with eight teams in a hotel room at different times. You get to meet the GM, the o-line coach, maybe the head coach, and a lot of scouts. There were 20 guys looking and listening. You've got to do it.
A lot of teams have been showing interest. Cleveland, Green Bay, Miami and Philadelphia have shown the most interest. I don't want to let it get to my head. I have to remember it's not like college. I don't get to choose a team. They pick you.
If I work hard, things will work out.
