Men reported pointing guns at each other near H-2

Multiple charges are pending against a man with eight convictions who was arrested this morning after police responded to a call of two men pointing guns at each other on the side of the H-2 Freeway, near the Ka Uka Boulevard exit ramp.

The 38-year-old Wai'anae man was booked on firearms counts.

He was arrested at 8:53 a.m.

A second man, 34-year-old Paul Andrew Burghardt of Salt Lake, was charged with misdemeanor illegal use of an air gun. He was released at 1:15 p.m. after posting $2,000 bail.

Burghardt's appearance is scheduled March 14 at 'Ewa District Court.
