Fire burns 50 acres on Moloka'i's west end

KALUAKO'I, Moloka'i — A fire that was reported shortly before 12:30 this afternoon has spread to 50 acres at Kaluako'i on the west end of Moloka'i, the Maui Fire Department reported.Two helicopters have been dispatched from Maui and will assist 13 county firefighters who are stationed on neighboring Moloka'i.
