Singer Cris Williamson to perform at Paliku Theatre

News Release

Singer/songwriter Cris Williamson brings her 30th anniversary show to the Paliku Theatre at Windward Community College in Kane'ohe, 8 p.m. March 16

Williamson's "The Changer and the Changed," became one of the best-selling independent releases of all time, selling nearly a million copies. Williamson is honoring her album's 30th anniversary with a national tour of concerts. Joining Cris for her O'ahu appearance will be fellow recording artist and record producer Teresa Trull.

Williamson's anniversary concert program spans her 30-year career as a pre-eminent lesbian folk musician. "The Changer and The Changed" launched what would become known as "women's music," music that was created, performed and marketed specifically to women.

The 30th Anniversary Tour launched with two sold out shows in San Francisco.
