UH's ticketing system earns 'Innovator' finalist honor

Advertiser Staff

The University of Hawai'i was one of three finalists for the "Innovator of the Year Award," by Paciolan, a national ticketing provider.

Oklahoma won the award that Boston College and UH were also up for.

UH was honored for its implementation and promotion of its new Access Management ticket system, which allows fans to buy tickets online, print them at home, re-sell them through HawaiiAthletics.com, and transfer them to another party via e-mail, according to a release.

UH launched the Print@Home ticket system last April. Sixty-eight percent (7,826 of 11,496) of individual game tickets were purchased online since then.
