Hyatt Waikiki launches spa program for men

Hyatt Waikiki is launching the "Spa Shave Program" for men tomorrow as part of a pitch to capture a men's market with spa products and services catering to men.

Hyatt North America is partnering with Shave Inc., a New York-based company that specializes in upscale grooming product. Shave Inc. president Danielle Malka will be in Waikiki tomorrow to kick off the program.

The International Spa Association recently reported that men now make up about 31 percent of all those who got spas in the United States, up from 29 percent in 2005.

Malka will offer five tips for the perfect shave, quick-fix tips and the latest trends in the men's grooming market.
