ID theft will be topic of meeting

State lawmakers from 'Aiea and Pearl City will host an informational meeting on identity theft on Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Waimalu Elementary School cafeteria.

Honolulu police officers will be featured guests at the meeting, which will include tips on how residents can protect themselves from identity theft. State Sens. David Ige, Donna Mercado Kim and Norman Sakamoto, and Reps. Blake Oshiro, K. Mark Takai and Roy Takumi are sponsoring the meeting.
