Standard Parking lands contracts for Hawai'i locations

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Standard Parking Corporation (NASDAQ:STAN), one of the nation's leading providers of parking management services, announced Monday the recent award of contracts to operate several Hawai'i parking locations and to provide parking management services at the El Paso (Texas) International Airport.The new Hawai'i contracts include an award by the Shidler Group of the operation of a 1,244-space facility serving the mixed-use Waterfront Plaza complex in downtown Honolulu. Standard Parking also was awarded a contract by the City of Honolulu to operate the 600-space Kukui Plaza parking facility. This announcement follows a recent award by the City to Standard Parking for the operation of the City's 1,020-space Hale Pauahi parking facility.

Standard Parking also announced its receipt of a multi-year contract to manage the 3,500-space short-term and long-term parking facilities at the El Paso (Texas) International Airport. "Standard Parking is pleased to have been selected as the preferred parking operator at the El Paso International Airport. We look forward to working in partnership with the Airport to significantly enhance equipment technology, revenue controls and customer service programs," commented Jack Ricchiuto, the Executive Vice President of the Company's Airport Division.
