County officials are accepting applications for the 2007 Summer Youth Employment Program.

Forms are available at the mayor's office, at any neighborhood center, at the Department of Personnel Services in the Lihu'e Civic Center, or can be downloaded from the county's Web site, www.kauai.gov.

The program is open to high school or college students 16 and older. A range of office and outdoor jobs is available.

The program generally runs June 18 to July 31, although some jobs have slightly different starting and ending dates.

Application deadline is April 20.
