Best surf expected off eastern shores

Bodyboarders will want to make there way to Bellows, Makapu'u, Kailua and Kualoa beach parks Tuesday to take in some of the best surf around the island.Surf off the eastern shores is expected to be 4 to 6 feet, the National Weather Service said. The higher surf is being produced by the trade winds.
Elsewhere, surf along north-facing shores will be 3 to 5 feet, surf along west-facing shores will be 3 to 5 feet and surf along south-facing shores will be 2 to 4 feet.
