Kona Brewing beer sales up 30% to 1.4M gallons in '06

Kona Brewing Co. said its beer sales grew 30 percent last year as the company distributed to more Mainland markets and bottled a new seasonal beer.The company said it sold about 1.4 million gallons of beer last year, up from almost 1.1 million gallons in 2005.
The national average for craft-beer sales rose 12 percent.
Founded on the Big Island in 1994, Kona Brewing is Hawai'i's largest brewery and the 32nd largest U.S. beer producer, with two Hawai'i restaurants and beer distribution to 15 states, Japan and Taiwan.
