Big City Diner to hold job fair

Advertiser Staff

Big City Diner Inc. will open its fifth restaurant in April and will hold a job fair to recruit workers for the new Pearlridge Center location next month.

The job fair will be at the Pearlridge location, near Bank of Hawaii, on March 15 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and March 16 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The 40 to 50 available positions include servers, hosts and cooks.

The Pearlridge restaurant will initially serve just breakfast and lunch when it opens, but will eventually expand to become fully operational with dinner and late-night service by summer, said Lane Muraoka, president and owner of the Big City Diner restaurant chain.
