Police looking for car that killed Makaha pedestrian

Honolulu police vehicular homicide investigators are looking for a blue-colored car, possibly a Honda, with front-end damage, which was involved in a fatal hit-and-run collision Monday night on Farrington Highway in Makaha.

Carl Johansen, 63, was struck by the car while crossing the highway at 6:53 p.m. The pedestrian fatality occurred near Makaha Surfside Apartments.
