2 men charged with burglary of Waikiki jewelry store

Two men who police say were caught inside a Waikiki jewelry store on Kuhio Avenue early Monday morning were charged late Tuesday with second-degree burglary.Andrew Keone Kaoihana of Waipahu and Derek Kirkpatrick of Liliha, both 46 years old, had their initial appearance in court today .
Police responding to a 3:30 a.m. alarm allegedly found the back door to the store pried open and found the suspects wearing masks and dark clothing in possession of jewelry and cash.
