Three arrested in Waipahu gunpoint robbery incident

Police arrested a man and two women Tuesday in Waipahu for allegedly robbing a woman at gunpoint.The victim, 31, was walking along Farrington Highway when she was confronted by the trio. The man allegedly pointed a gun at the victim and fired off a round.
The trio were arrested at 2:15 p.m. and booked for armed robbery. The man faces an additional charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
