Town-bound traffic backups clearing at H-1/H-2 merge

Advertiser Staff

Traffic has mostly cleared out through the H-1 Freeway/H-2 Freeway merge area and is flowing well through Waipahu, Pearl City and 'Aiea.

Things stack up, however, at the Middle Street merge where traffic was stop-and-go as of about 8:20 this morning. The flow remains heavy through Kalihi and Liliha but opens up nicely once past the Pali Highway off-ramp.

Traffic is slow on Kalaniana'ole Highway again this morning with a backup starting near the Koko Head Avenue overpass.

Traffic heading into town from Kailua and Kane'ohe on Pali Highway was moving a bit better than usual at about 8:20.
